We have always believed in the strong relationship between the careful cultivation of the vineyards and the resultant wine. With this new endeavor, we bring that mission to the forefront by featuring wines where we have “Tailored” (a nod to winemaker Matt Taylor’s last name) the source vineyard by planting, selecting clones, naturally enriching the soils, cultivating, and harvesting the grapes specifically to match the terroir, climate, and soils of these vineyards. Each of the 3 Mascarin wines – the Chardonnay, the Red Field Blend,  and the Whole Cluster Pinot Noir – has its unique story, from their vine development to the vinification. The finished wine has Matt’s signature style – balanced acidity that brings out the best of the grapes,  speaking to the terroir within which they were grown.
