2014 Zinfandel
Dry Creek Valley
Sold Out!
The vineyard for our Zinfandel is chosen for its age, farming techniques, location and clone. We prefer old vineyards, as age adds the right amount of richness and zest to the resultant juice. Dry Creek is perfectly situated for producing some of the best Zinfandel vineyards in the country, due to its warmer climates and riverbed soil.
These grapes were hand-harvested in mid September and transported to a closed top fermenter and underwent primary fermentation over a period of two weeks. The wine was then transferred to year old French oak and aged for 13 months allowing primary and secondary fermentation to occur naturally.
